When durability was a major safety concern, NASA chose Paramount to illuminate the rocket testing facility at Edwards AFB. Even after the disastrous June 8, 1960 explosion while testing the experimental X-15 Rocket Plane, Paramount’s pole mounted C8 Craft Lite® luminaires survived the challenge. Our products have changed with the needs of the industry, but our commitment to quality is as durable and long-lasting as our luminaries.

Paramount’s Craft Lite® was the first luminaire created by Paramount in 1947. It specializes as a heavy-duty, enclosed & gasketed, wet location linear luminaire. Models are available in multiple widths, and in lengths from two through eight foot. The Craft Lite® line is often customized, available in stainless steel construction, with a myriad of other options to choose from. A favorite for Transit & Municipal applications, Craft Lites® are ETL/cETL Listed for Wet, Hazardous, and Food Processing.
